Positive changes

To say my life has changed in the past few years would be an understatement. I started working part time almost two years ago and went full-time last July. I qualified with my second guide, went on a journey of spiritual discovery and five weeks ago, I moved into my first rented property.

It took me a while but I finally did it.

It’s a stone throw, literally from my parents home, so still have the support from family and friends but it’s my own little place with Bertie and I am loving it.

Have had a few crazy first moments like picking up a box of washing powder for it to fall out of the bottom. knocking an entire bottle of fabric softener across the floor. and standing on a slug. I am hoping my bad luck has run its course. haha.

but saying all that. I have adjusted well I think. There was a nightmare with the prepay electricity to start with but hopefully that’s worked itself out. she says, running the dryer today because its typical British rainy summer and I have a lot of things to dry.

Reflecting though on how far I’ve come and how blessed I am to have such supportive friends and family around me. I’ve found a landlord that is accepting of me and Bertie and is willing to sort out the little things. He’s done a great job with the house and i love it and feel so happy here already.

I said to mum earlier today, it seems like i’ve lived away for ages but I haven’t really. So excited to see where the next chapter goes and keeping things happy and positive because that’s who I am nowadays. If you had told the negative me from four years ago I’d be working full-time and living alone I would have laughed but I am here and it’s in part because my attitude toward the world changed.

Thanks be to the goddess and to me for finding myself and my path aligning so I can find my way.

I am 29 and feel like I have more blogs than I care to think about. That's where Life without sight has come into it. I finally have grown up and stepped into the hosting world. Lets see how this goes :)
