The Oldham branch for fundraising for Guide Dogs is cohosting a charity night at a local theatre. Proceeds from tickets sold and a share of raffle ticket sales will go directly to Guide Dogs and it is hoped to be a fun filled night.
Details are below
Monday 7th April
Playhouse 2 Newtown Street, Shaw OL2 8NX
‘COMIC POTENTIAL’ A comedy by Alan Ayckbourn
Somewhere in the ‘foreseeable’ future , Chandler Tate is the burnt-out rebel directing a hospital soap in which shrinking budgets have forced him to use actoids – android actors who can be programmed to perform any emotional response but are devoid of their own emotions. However, Tate fan and young writer Adam Trainsmith discovers that one actoid may be malfunctioning (or maybe not!) and has a sense of humour.
Tickets cost £8 each and all profits will be donated to Guide Dogs.
There will be a raffle for which patrons can buy tickets on arrival at the theatre. There is a licensed bar for drinks before the performance and during the interval and tea and coffee can also be purchased.
Tickets can be ordered via Marie or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cheques should be made payable to Guide Dogs.
